Hattie Zechiel

April 25, 1920 - May 1, 2008 Resident of Hayward, CA Passed away May 1, 2008 in Windsor Gardens at her rest home. She was born first daughter of 12 siblings in the Dockter family on April 25, 1920 in Tuttle, ND. She was happily married to John "Jack" Zechiel in 1943 and moved to California in 1962. Hattie was a loved homemaker, gardener, baker and loyal Oakland A's fan. She is survived by her two granddaughters Julia and Erika Jordan and her son John. Her final resting place is at Chapel of the Chimes in Hayward with her cherished daughter Nancy and loving husband of 52 years Jack. Services will be held by Pastor Daniel Severson on Wednesday, May 14th, 2008 at 10am at Chapel of the Chimes, 32992 Mission Blvd., Hayward, CA. She will be missed and forever be in our hearts.
